Hope this helps. And so far it has held at least one entire book at a time. This item - SanDisk Sansa m230 512 MB MP3 Player (Blue) - is very easy to use and the cost is unbeatable. I use it to load audio books on while at work and it is ever so easy to plug into the usb port and delete the files from the player when I am done and to add new ones. I would recommend this item to friends for sure.
It has a good headphone connector, where others got loose.Recording is excellent, especially if you get some free audio editing software to cut the clipping and amplify the person furthest from the mike.Only drawback is that one cannot select ALBUMS or other ways to find a file except by the toggle switch, which is tolerable, but a bit annoying when files do not load in sequence onto the player. This is my 2nd SanDisk 512. Nicer to be able to play by album or somehow, in sequence, when they do not write to the device in sequence.Otherwise, it is a good player and why I got a second one instead of another brand or a bigger capacity.
It works very well and it very easy to install and download songs to. She loved it and now she can enjoy her music without the ipod price tag. I bought this as a gift for my daughter, for her 8th brthday. It is the perfect size and for the price, I am very pleased with the quality of the sound and the different features it offers.
It lets me listen to radio, doesn't take a lot of battery power, and has a unique, cool design. I enjoyed this a lot. I really like it and still am going to use it for a long time.
For the money, I would definitely recommend this MP3 player. This was only one time out of hundreds of uses. I would definitely recommend this. I have had this MP3 player for the past 2 years and just bought one for my mom. The only time I've ever had a problem with it was when it shut off because of extreme heat. It holds plenty of songs and even comes with the armband for exercise.
